PENNY (YOU CAN NEVER THROW THE BALL ENOUGH) LANE
Penny is my sweet 4 year old. Two things you can tell right off the bat. She has a really long tongue and she is crazy about tennis balls. Or any ball, for that matter. She also has really small ears, but that’s something I really only figured out when we got Lilly, who’s ears are much bigger. It’s the random things. Penny is my second pup and a true love. She used to be crazy as all get out, but lately she’s settling down and is usually my calming companion. Except when she wants you to throw the ball. Then she’s just a pain in the tukkas.
LILLY (YOU CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH HUGS AND KISSES) MAE
Lilly is my 2 year old love machine. The thing you can tell about her immediately is that she goes gaga over her toys. She won’t make a move without having one in her mouth. She loves to hold on to them, play with them and chew on them. But her greatest joy is when she finally rips the seam enough to pull out all the white stuffing that fills them and then, oh yes, then… she has her big chance at getting her mouth on the piece de resistence, the grand prize, the joy beyond all the joys- the squeaker! Nothing beats that for Lil. Lilly came to us at 6 months old from a shelter out of Indiana. Some idiot actually plopped her in a kill shelter and then thankfully, an angel found her, rescued her and brought her into our world. She is one big mush and can’t ever get or give enough love.
